What is permanent jewelry?

It is bracelets, necklaces, anklets or rings that are welded together so there is no clasp. Each piece is custom to YOU and can last months to years! Pick out your chain(s), we will do custom sizing, and with a quick weld you are officially Sparked Together ✨

How does it work?

Using an American-made pulse arc welding machine, we weld your piece onto your desired location within seconds! We will place a small, leather square between your skin & the chain and then with a quick “spark” from the welder, you've been SPARKED TOGETHER! 

Can I remove my jewelry?

If at any point you wish to remove your jewelry, simply use a sharp pair of scissors or wire cutters to cut the jump ring. We are always happy to weld your piece back on for a small fee.

Is this really permanent?

The term “permanent” is used because it gives the appearance that it cannot be taken off! 

We source materials that are durable and long lasting; however, the lifespan of your unique piece depends on a variety of things: lifestyle, job and other external factors. If your permanent jewelry breaks or stretches, we will do our best to repair it. If you would like to remove your jewelry, simply use wire cutters and cut at the jump ring where it was welded.

Where can I get permanent jewelry?

We do not have a brick and mortar location. Check our event schedule to see where we will be popping-up each month! If you are a business and would like to do a jewelry pop-up in your space, please contact us. Sparked Together is also available for private parties with a minimum of 10 items purchased. We will come to you for any event you want from bachelorette parties and bridal showers to a girls night or just for fun!

What kind of chains do you offer?

Sparked Together currently carries 925 Sterling Silver, 14k Gold-Filled, Rose Gold and 14k Gold chains. 

We also offer connectors and charms that can be added to any piece for an extra charge.

Can I wear my jewelry through security at the airpot?

Yes! There is no reason your jewelry needs to be taken off for the security at the airport.

How about an MRI or medical scan?

We recommend discussing with your doctor; however, all of our chains are safe for medical scans unless the scan is for the area the jewelry is on.

Will my jewelry tarnish or turn my skin green?

Gold-Filled jewelry is created with an outer layer of entirely 14k gold that is pressure-bonded to the brass base metal and contains at least 5% gold by weight. This makes it more durable than solid gold or plated jewelry & provides a longer life span for your pieces provided they are cared for properly. Please be cautious if you have an allergy to brass as gold-filled jewelry contains this metal! Gold-filled jewelry is second to solid gold in terms of quality, but is number one in affordability, durability, and longevity.

Sterling Silver is beautiful and shiny, but will easily tarnish if not cared for properly. Unlike gold-filled, Sterling Silver does not hold up well in water, chemical exposure, or around beauty products. Sterling Silver will require frequent light polishing to help minimize tarnishing! Using a mild dish soap and water will help tremendously.

Can children get permanent jewelry?

With parental consent and accompaniment, we are happy to provide our permanent jewelry services to children of most ages; however, all young people are responsible for the jewelry once it is on their body. This choice is considerate of lifestyle, sports, growth spurts, age and other external factors that could cause premature wear and tear. Our chains are durable but they are not indestructible. 

What happens if my jewelry breaks?

If your permanent jewelry breaks please contact us immediately.  If it breaks at the welded spot within 48 hours, we are happy to re-weld at no charge. If it breaks at any other point in the chain, we can inspect and assess the damage for repair. A small re-welding fee may be applied.

We cannot offer replacements, refunds or discounts for lost chains due to the personal nature of the wearer's lifestyle, occupation and other external factors that are out of our control.

What if my jewelry stretches or I lose weight?

We are happy to resize your customized piece by making it smaller up to 30 days after initially being Sparked Together at no charge, after that, a small re-welding fee maybe applied.

If your piece stretches, we can inspect and assess for resizing and re-welding for a small fee.

If you find your jewelry is too tight, we are able to add charms, connectors, or additional chain for a fee.
